| DO NOT use HK-MAG5 as the hook kit for the Dodge Charger. | ||
July 27, 2007 HK-MAG5 is only to be used on the Dodge Magnum. HK-CHGR is only to be used on the Dodge Charger. Specifically, the 18-8 stainless steel bolts (P/N# 7000469-xx) supplied with locktite on the threads must be used with keeper plates in compliance with the mounting instructions supplied with the bar and the corresponding hook kit. Any substitution and/or variation may lead to a hazardous condition with the vehicle's lightbar mounting. If you are using the wrong hook kit, replace immediately. |

| Service Bulletin - Arjent S2 and Legend lightbars -- SignalMaster | ||
November 15, 2006 Federal Signal Arjent S2 and Legend lightbars include directional warning patterns that are built-in to the lightbar software. When a SignalMaster directional pattern is selected, the directional warning overrides any other activity in that portion of the lightbar. We have discovered that under certain temperature extremes the SignalMaster directional lighting in these lightbars will either 1) not energize (light-up) or 2) will energize but perform erratically.

| 650204 Safety Warning | ||
July 23, 2004 Federal Signal Corporation's model 650204 LED/halogen flashers were designed with short circuit protection to prevent current overload in a vehicle's electrical system. We have discovered that in certain situations the flasher's over-current protection could fail. This is a fire hazard for a vehicle's electrical system if the flasher fails to shutdown when a short occurs and the vehicle's electrical system receives too much current. |

| Service Bulletin for Ricochet Power Supplies | ||
September, 2003 Federal Signal Ricochet Strobe Power Supplies have been manufactured with an internal gasket to provide mechanical support and stability for the board-mounted flash capacitors. We have discovered that, under certain conditions, compounds contained in the gasket material may provide a conductive path for electrical arcing, damaging the power supply. |

| FireRay Safety Warning | ||
October 5, 2001 Federal Signal Corporation's FireRay strobe lights are typically produced with a housing molded from a non-conductive, polycarbonate material. We have discovered that our vendor for this housing has supplied some housings to us made from an electrically conductive material. The use of this material can pose a safety hazard in that a person coming into contact with a vehicle operating the FireRay strobe lights could receive a severe electrical shock. This condition can potentially involve FireRay strobe lights shipped from Federal Signal from January 2001 through October 2001. |
